Volcanoes, Earthquakes and Tsunamis |
Volcanoes
Volcanoes are mountains that have an opening downward into the asthenosphere. Here molten lava circulates and when pressure builds the volcano will erupt. Mostly negative impact as it burns through things and releases toxic gases, but after a long time where a volcano has erupted the soil will be very rich in nutrients from the lava.

Earthquakes
An earthquake is shaking of the ground that is caused by moving of the tectonic plates. They are very destructive and have made people find ways to build buildings that do not topple when shaken by earthquakes. They negatively impact nations and economies, as well as killing many.

Tsunamis
A tsunami is a typically high and long wave most commonly caused by earthquakes. They are incredibly strong and very destructive to the land it reaches. Often largely negatively impacting the economy and killing many.
